Also some back story on my product of choice: The travel card is something that is being used by millions of citizens overseas, particularly the UK and France. They scan it instead of getting paper tickets for getting around where they live and to other parts of the country, making it faster and more user friendly. It can be used for some restaurants as well.
great! I wish we had something like these in the US! Oh wait, we're a car culture with lawmakers that are against clean public transit like trains and buses.
I actually read an article saying that the NYC was wanting to use the same idea. But we're in Oklahoma... so we'll never see it.
