start by creating a new layer, yo.
of course you dont have to name the layer but for this we will, yo.
then you choose the elliptical marquee tool and make a circle where you want the water droplet to be on your picture, yo.
and make sure your background and foreground colors are set to black and white, yo.
then use the gradient tool and draw a line in the direction of the light, for this i just did top left to bottom right, yo.
then change blending mode of layer to overlay, yo.
then go to layer, layer style and select drop shadow, yo.
once you are here you will uncheck the box saying "use global light" and then you will adjust the "angle" according to your light source, here i will once again just change it all to go from top left, yo.
you then do the same for the box on the left marked "inner shadow" so it matches the "drop shadow" box you just changed, yo.
then hit "ok", yo.
and there you have it, yo. a wonderful raindrop that you now know how you can make the drop whatever size you want by using the pen and make the shape whatever you want.
