I like the triangles that bookend the rectangle, however they do make the logo VERY wide. What if they were placed on the top and bottom as opposed to the sides. This would make the logo more versatile for different applications.
The grayscale version doesn't look designed. It looks like a simple desaturate in PS.

i think it was creative that you used cherries on the sides where normally something like a circle or something would be used.
