D1- Tutorial #1 BUTTler

Adding a realistic tattoo

1. Open up an image of the person you want to give the tattoo to. In this case I chose Mr. Walsh since he can never remember my name. He will now have a daily reminder.  And the cigarette was added too.

2. I am going to add text for the tattoo, but you can also choose an image as well if you would prefer.

3. Next you will choose the move tool and right click on the text and choose rotate.

4. Now you will go to Edit>Free Transform and move text to desired location. You may need to rotate it some more as needed.

5. Next go to the right hand bottom side that shows your layers and on your layer you will right click and choose "Rasterize Type"

6. Now you will go to Edit>Transform>Warp. So now you can warp the picture to fit the contours of the body, in this case Paul's neck.

7. Since the picture you are placing the tattoo on may be more "soft" or "blurry" compared to the tattoo that is more "sharp" you will need to add a "blur." To add this go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and use the "preview" on the tool to adjust the blur as needed,

8. Now you have your finished product!
