The color version is strong! The grayscale looks like you simply converted the color version in Photoshop. That wasn't what I wanted you to do. You should have designed the colors in grayscale so that you could have achieved contrast without the aid of color information.
The BW version has too much black. 50/50 split would have worked a lot better.

I can redo them. I guess i misunderstood yet again
