D2 Tutorial #3 Miller

Heres how you can use the blend tool to merge two shapes together. First select the ellipse tool and create your shape.

Next I selected the star tool, which is in the same location as the ellipse tool, and I created a star. You will want each shape to be a different color as well.

Then click on the blend tool located in the tool box and click on each shape on an anchor point and when you do you should get something like this.

If you click on the blend tool again a box like this one will show up and if you click on the drop menu you can create differnt looks to your blend.

By clicking on the specified steps option and the number of steps you want then it creates the shapes and how they would look as they go from one shape to the next.

Then if you wanted you can go to the objects menu on the top bar and select expand. A pop up will come and click ok.

It will create indiviual lines for each shape. You will want to right click while all the shapes are selected and click ungroup.

So you can now move each shape and delete ones you dont want.
And there ya go!
