I agree that the correlation between old and new is neat! It took me a moment to actually realize that you had done that. The background images almost just looked like designs at first but then kind of turn into a picture...kinda fun!
I really like the process that you used to create the images, it is very unique and works well. The theme itself is also very cool, and you almost miss it because of how well the pieces are laid out.

Your open series pieces are my favorites for sure. Love the backgrounds tying into the fabric, the weaponry, everything. Awesome.
