D1 Open Series -Dozier

The theme behind my series is an argument for the existence of a God. I am not arguing for any religion in particular as I am not a highly religious person. These pieces ask the question of, "What are the odds of all of these things just coming together to form the universe, earth, and the beings of the earth?" It ties the relationship between the creations together with gambling to represent the relationship between the odds of getting the right thing in order to be successful. There are also a few parts in some of the pieces to sort of mock the idea of science being able to explain everything.

I like how unique your concept is. There a lot of underlying symbols that really evoke thought.

I like the theme, and there is a great debate even in physics between Albert Einstein and Niels Bohr. Einstein said to Bohr that "God doesn't play dice with the universe". Bohr said, "We'll who are you tell God how to make a universe".

Your theme is very interesting, Itll grab attention like crazy because of how big and heated religious debates can get. Each of your images very strongly shows your theme behind it.

I like the deep thought that went into this piece. It is nice when someone has a meaning for their art. The 4th piece is pretty interesting.

All of your pieces look really good, and I like how well you represented your topic while at the same time being able to do it on neutral ground. Also seeing you work on these in class I know how much work you put into them and it definitely payed off.
