Eli Casiano Fab Five

I tried to juxtapose ideas and play with compositions. I spent time on complimentary colors and different values. In the process, I learned more about different filters and color adjustments. In the first piece, I tried to recreate an image I would typically try and paint. The process has become boring and feels like a gimmick. The next four are different, Ive now tried to reflect what ideas I want to pursue in the future.

It seems like the images are a little inconsistent to a theme. I can see that you desaturated the images, which makes them easy to look at but then a little uninteresting to me. I personally like lots of color and high contrast but the individual images, if introduced alone, would be very nice images.

i like the first image because it reminds me of you paintings, the rest of your pieces are good. I think you spent most of the time working on the first one, and that left you with no time to work on the rest of the pieces.

I think the images are awesome. The idea of how mickey tries to grow his influence from that of childhood into adult-life is great. And skull island and the coca-cola indian both have a great relation to death and industrial takeover.

Love the composition of the top image, jumbled and cluttered and such, but I like the clean look of the last image as well. Nice job.
